My Year in Books - 2025
Ah obscenity — an homage to the American author who taught me to swear in Spanish — here we go again.
To my chagrin, this has not been the most productive year in terms of clearing out my to-be-read shelf. I have nought to blame but myself. And The Witcher 3. And Black Myth: Wukong. And Expedition 33. And my six-year-old kitten, who would invariably scramble up and demand attention whenever he sees me retire to the rocking chair, book in hand. So on and so forth.
Let’s cut to the chase. 2025 is not getting any longer.
